I am looking at purchasing a programming productivity tool for use in my
dbase consulting contract work. I have looked at Clarion Professional
Developer 2.1, dBase IV 1.1 Developer, and Clipper 5.0.
Has anyone used these products (or others) or evaluated them??? I need
whatever I choose to be 100% dBaseIII+ compatible. Am looking for the
package to build screens, build files/tables, generate code, and have a
report writer feature. It also must have a royalty-free run-time module or
be able to generate .EXEs for DOS machines.
Will appreciate all comments from those who have experience using any of these
products or has seen evaluations somewhere.
