INGRES 5.0 ('87) for SunOs 3.xx (3.5 used here)
I have a question about the INGRES/MENU, which is started
with: rtingres <databasename>.
One option of the INGRES/MENU, TABLES, allows you to create,
manipulate or to lookup tables in the database.
My problem is: After the creation of a table, you can enter
the column specifications including the data
formats (types).
The installation supports both SQL and QUEL
database languages. The default database is
QUEL (data type vchar() results in an error-
message).
How do you switch to SQL-mode ????
