I'm running an Ingres ESQL application under X windows. The problem I have is that the xterm does not seem to recognise the clear screen command used by Ingres. Normally, under sunview, every time a form is put on the screen it clears the screen first. This does not happen under X, instead it fails to do the clear and just draws the next form over the previous one. Even if I do an EXEC FRS CLEAR SCREEN this has no effect. Similarly, using rtingres, the screens are merely written on top of each other ... very confusing reading! Has anyone solved this problem or know a solution?
