I'm considering upgrading some fair sized applications from S87 to 5.0. I've heard there are some problems with memory management in 5.0 that could result in the loss of multiple db records. Has anyone had trouble with this. I'd also appreciate input on any other problems/recommendations on code upgrades. . . . and are there any adult soccer leagues in the Orange County area, indoor and outdoor. I have never heard of records being lost as a result but if the system crashed with data in a buffer it could conceivably lose the buffered record that wasn't committed to the disk. 5.0 is a one way trip BTW... once you convert you'll never WANT to go back tom leylan ex-senior systems analyst / Nantucket Corp.
