I am currently writing some software using Ingres 6.0 running on Apollos. What I am currently doing is logging in remotely to the apollos (which have ingres installed) from a sun3/60 using X11R4. What I wish to do is to make use of the wview terminal (supposed to work with X11R3) which uses X to display menus, move the cursor around between fields etc... My problem is that having read the miniscule manual, I cannot get it to work. When starting up something like ingmenu the window just hangs there. The xserver is running locally on the sun and the apollos are running dm at present. I am wondering if anyone has succeeded in getting something like this to work...
