I would like to request information from anyone who has used or is using the db_VISTA products. We are currently thinking about getting the db_VISTA data management system for DOS and I was wondering what your impressions with it are. How comprehensive is the database library? Does it store each table and index in a separate file or can it do virtual tables in a single file? How much memory overhead does linking in the library take? Are they really as fast as they claim? How is the documentation? How good is db_QUERY? Does the source come for it as well? For those of you who have used this as well as other DB Libraries, which did you prefer and why?
