robind@code3.com (Robin Dunn) (02/26/91)

I would like to request information on the Emerald Bay C Developer's
Toolkit from Ratliff Software Production, Inc. If you have used or
are using it, please respond to the following questions:

What are your basic impressions of the library?

How comprehensive is the library?

Can it do variable length records?

Does it store each table and index in a separate file or can it do
virtual tables in a single file?

How is the documentation?

How good are it's mutiuser capabilities?

How is it's performance?

What kind of querying abilities does it have?

If you have used this and others, which did you perfer and why?

Thanks very much for the info,
Robin

I would appreciate seeing a summary of any private responses, please.
I've looked over the brochure and the library looks excellent from
my perspective--of course, I've worked with most of RSPI in the past
so my opinion is colored by a great deal of respect. I'd be quite
curious to hear what the real world thinks.
