[comp.databases] PCs and Macs sharing databases - info request

kaufman@vms.macc.wisc.edu (Peter Kaufman) (03/13/91)

There is great interest in sharing a database with both Macs and
PCs, at this time on a Novell file server, but options may be open
in the future to a Unix system using either a 386-based PC or Macintosh.

Foxbase/MAC and FoxPro is the current idea because of the presumed
ease in sharing the application generated and because of it's speed.

If anyone has any suggestions, anecdotes of their own, or ideas,
please mail me direct and I'll summarize.

Thanks!
				Peter
