[comp.databases] INFORMIX/TEXT/TRAINING

larry@bradley.bradley.edu (Larry D. Stratton) (03/28/91)

Looking for suggestions in texts/video/etc. to use as a training tool for
users and should be on a very elementary level. Secondly, a set of
training tools, again texts/video/whatever, that would address the
programmer level.

I'm looking for those of you who have suffered through or have been truly
enlightened by such teaching materials. If you know the cost of any and
all products/texts, please include such information.

Thanks,
L.D. Stratton

Well, this certainly seems like a great opportunity to put in a plug for
myself.

There is a WONDERFUL book on Informix-4gl. I know because I wrote
it. The book is available at all fine bookstores everywhere:

	"An Informix-4gl Tutorial"
	Prentice-Hall, 1990
