I am trying to reverse engineer an old application that was written using Btrieve under MSDOS so that the data can be moved into a new database. Regrettably no source for the programs, manuals etc are available. What i need to do is determine what the file structure is and then convert the data files into an ascii flat file for porting. Can anyone help out with any suggestions as to how to go about this, where to obtain a copy of Btrive or what the various filename extensions mean. Please email any responses. Thank you.
