I just received one of these offers for the above and would like to know the net's views on the product. I currently use dBase3+ and, as I am not a sophisticated database programmer, have found it to be adequate for my purposes. Does the new product offer me much more? I did happen to notice that it allowed concurrent relations to be set up with 10 files whereas only 1 is allowed in dBase3+. Other comments would be welcomed. Cheers, -Graham

It is a sophisticated relational dBase compatible for the non-programmer (though you can automate routines via - macros). If you need programming, it is probably not for you. However, if you use dBase III+ and don't program, you should find Alpha Four to be a huge improvement. I'd be curious to know what your reaction is if you get it. Good luck.
