We are attempting to convert a database from UNIFY 4.0 running on a CCI Power 6/32 minicomputer to UNIFY 2000 running on an ATT 3B2 600/G. Both machines run System V. So far, the "conv.sh" script provided by Unify fails with various syntax errors. This script is supposed to read the UNIFY 4.0 schema and produce a UNIFY 2000 database design. Has anyone out there performed a UNIFY 4.0 to 2000 conversion? Any suggestions or comments regarding this major feat would be appreciated tremendously. Please e-mail all replies to either: thall%spacecom.spacenet-gw.af.mil@server.af.mil or hallt@handel.cs.colostate.edu Thank you. Mr. Tim C. Hall, System Administrator Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB thall%spacecom.spacenet-gw.af.mil@server.af.mil

I didn't even try the conversion scripts due to the problems my co-workers had with them (care to comment Brandon?). So I did my conversion by hand. I found that it also helped me to more fully understand the building process involved with U2k. > Mr. Tim C.
