Hi,
I have some little problem with Sybase for Interactive:
can someone help me, please ?
"Machine Configuration"
Machine: AT clone 386/25
Math co-processor: Intel 387
Memory: 2Mb +
8Mb by SIM modules
Hard disk: 200Mb
Monitor: VGA
O.S.: Unix System V/386 Rel. 3.2
DBMS: Sybase Rel. 4.0
"Bugs encountered"
1) Defining into a form, with APT, two fields
*Field 1: __________
Field 2: __________
where the Special Attributes of the 2nd field are:
Entry values: via SQL on demand
Values SQL: select xyz from my_table where
xyz = '{Field 1}' order by xyz
^^^^^^^ *see before
during the execution of the form itself using the command ^V
on the 2nd field the following message is displayed:
"No non-null values for this field"
But this is not true.
2) Defining into a form, with APT, a DATATIME field
Field x: ___________________
during the execution, giving a dummy value as input on that
field (Example: 1 <RETURN>) the following message is
displayed:
"DB-Library: Data-conversion resulted in overflow"
Then the program aborts.
3) Defining a form, with APT, of length more than what is showable
during the execution of the program, the scroll arrows of the
form
^
< + >
v
result not enabled; the form will scroll only when we reach a
field in the side non visible.
Note:
The bugs 1) and 2) are not present in the SUN's Sybase
version while the bug 3) in the SUN version is true only for
the left/right arrows.
"Question"
Does someone know if exist (and where I can buy it) the Sybase
termdef for X-terminal ?
(Sorry for my English) Thanks in advance
(reply in e-mail if you want).
