Advanced Decision Systems (ADS) now has openings for database and data management specialists on a new project for a Fortune 500 company located in the Dallas area. Relocation to the Dallas area will be required. DATA MANAGEMENT ARCHITECT will assume the data management team leadership for the data architecture design and development of a distributed multiprocessing system. Candidates should have an MS or the equivalent in computer science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years experience in relational database design, distributed processing, and advanced query languages plus familiarity with Oracle, Unix, C, and C++ are essential. SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERS will design and implement systems involving databases in a distributed multiprocessing environment for planning and forecasting applications. Candidates should have an MS or PhD or the equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience working with database systems in a client-server environment. SOFTWARE ENGINEERS will develop systems involving databases in a distributed multiprocessing environment for planning and forecasting applications. Candidates should have a BS or the equivalent in computer science or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred. In addition, USER INTERFACE DESIGNERS are needed, as are SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERS and SOFTWARE ENGINEERS with knowledge and experience in knowledge-based systems, object-oriented programming, parallel programming environments, and client-server architectures.
