Currently, I have a P.C. stand alone version of Oracle, containing approximately 40 tables and 1,000,000 records. The application consists of 40 SQL*Forms, 50 reports (using SQL*Plus) and a number of C programs which export the data to various graphical systems. I need to create the same database table structure, content and functionality on a P.C. stand alone version of Ingres. What I need to find out is if there is any way of exporting the database from Oracle to Ingres or of getting Ingres to interrput the Oracle database structure (tables, indexes, etc.) and contents into the Ingres equivalent. I realise that there will be a lot of reworking of the functionality surrounding the data but surly, as the data is already in a relational database there must be some way of converting it. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance. dh
