The list is fine for those of you who listen to top-40 stuff all day long. Can any body come up with a list of 'new` music? I'm sure billboard has a list for new-wave, or just new music in general. Most of the top-40 songs you see on the lists have been played by many *new-music* stations long ago - eg. Joe Jackson "Steppin` Out", Man At Work "Who can it be now" and the list can go on and on. It's just that i've heard all these song a hundred times over. How about Adam Ant? Where does he stand on a list? Well, so much for my comment. Barry Evans at decvax!wivax!evans

Yes, some of us listen to Top 40 while driving to work and some of us even listen to disco (horrors!!). I can't believe that anyone calls Adam Ant's version of "Goody Two Shoes" music! Unfortunately, it will probably end up on the Top 40.

Adam Ant is currently being played on two of Boston's big stations WXKS (Kiss 108) - top40/disco format WBCN (no alias) - rock/new/etc... Whether or not "Goody Two Shoes" is *music* has nothing to do with the discussion.
