I need a DOS relational database. The application consists of about 20 tables with the main table (6 fields) having about 65,000 entries. I need to link ASCII text files and memo (Character fields >500) to the database. The system will be used real time, so access speed is critical. The application is for personal use and is fairly dynamic, i.e. I will be constantly adding features. I am willing to compromise all out performance for ease of programming. Any recommendations. I've looked at: Paradox3, no memo (max 255) or links to files; Alpha4, to slow, limited tables and no table view in forms; R:Base, If I could just figure out the manual! I'm interested in getting hold of evaluation copies of as many databases as possible. If anybody has email or phone numbers of contacts who can supply me with these, please mail me.
