-- We are running the old University ingres 7.1 (1981?) and are having a problem. First, let me mention that we are running this software because the professor who teaches the database class has his whole curriculum around it and demands it (he uses EQUEL in class). Now, we run it on a mXAVII under Mt Xinu BSD 4.3 Unix and also on a mVAXII and VAXstation 3100 under Ultrix 4.1. Same version on ingres and same architecture. When on gets into ingres, such as through ingres demo (using the supplied demo database), and types the following command \r The Mt Xinu behaves appropriately and the Ultrix version does a ingres logout, complete with logout message.
