[comp.databases] Dbase 3+ Replace with Vars

Is it possible using dbase 3+ to use the REPLACE command with
variables? She gets a variable not found whilst a printing of variables
proves it exists.

Absolutely!  REPLACE <field> with <variable> should give no problem.
However, your wording has me wondering if you aren't trying -
REPLACE <variable> with <variable> which is not allowed.
