[comp.databases] Public Domain DB needed

Does anyone know of or have a public domain relational database 
for simple instructional use?  It need not interact with the os.
It must have rudimentary relational features --either project,
select, join-type or domain or tuple calculus type operators.
If it interacts with the os, I need one that works with Sun
and/or unix.
