[comp.databases] INFORMIX SQL grammar question

Is it possible to represent special characters in an INSERT-clause?
Something like 'INSERT INTO A_TABLE ("  ...  \n ... "), perhaps?

To the best of my knowledge... NO.  I believe that if you also try doing
something like ^M, the statement would fail also.
