[comp.databases] Info on ISO Distributed Transaction Processing Model...

acruz@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu (Alex Cruz) (06/17/91)

I recently posted a question regarding multiuser database updates
in DOS environments. I got a lot of responses. Thank you to
everybody.

Now, I'm in the search of information on the

     "ISO Distributed Transaction Processing Model"

Does anybody know if there is a RFC on it? Should I use archie
in McGill to find any possible FTP archives?

Thank you again.

Alex

The ISO DTP model is ISO document 10026 part 1. It's only
about 25 pages long. I have a January 91 editor's copy, I think
the regular copy may be available now.

To get ISO documents, you have to pay money. They are copyrighted,
and available from various companies. I think Omnicom is one.
To my knowlege, they are not available electronically.
