[comp.databases] Text Retrieval layered onto Xbase...

Hi
Does anyone know of any applications that will...

	1) Index text in DBF file structures
	2) Offer function calles to perform various boolean,
	   fuzzy/proximity searches returning recno's.
	3) Have some incremental indexing scheme intact so the
text indexes are maintained current, ideally
independent of the program code which modifies these
	   files.

	Clues?

"Friendly Finder" will do much of this. I fooled with it about
a year ago, but have not used it extensively. (As an unusual aside,
the algorithms used in it are part of a doctoral thesis that can
be obtained through the University of California.)
