Hello net.landers. Please try not to laugh too hard when you read what I want to do. Basically, I am interested in a way to easily convert applications written in PACE (Wang Labs proprietary DBMS product) to any one of the various UNIX based RDBMS platforms. I have never seen any discussion of PACE (nor would I expect to ;-) ) but perhaps there is something out there that I am not aware of. Those who are familiar with PACE (anybody???) know that PACE applications are a disgusting COBOL/PACE hybrid - obviously, translating the actual code will be a tedious manual job. It would be nice if there was something that would convert the data dictionary, though. Those with any great ideas, please e-mail. I'm sure there's no one else foolish enough to be interested in this sort of silliness.
