[comp.databases] PADL

Does any one have a Clipper '87 routine that will pad a field with
leading zeros?

i.e. turn 3-23-9636 into 003-23-9636. The dashes would not be included
at data entry time.

Thanks,

deryk

Look in the EXAMPLEP.PRG file for a function called STRZERO().
(Startes at line 472) EXAMPLEP.PRG was part of the S'87 distribution.
