Hello
I am a fairly new dBase-user and now I have run into some trouble when I tried
to create a report looking like this. (Number, Name, Address, Itemnr_1,
Itemnr_2,..., Itemv_1, Itemv_2,... are dBase-fields.)
MemberNr Member-information Items Values
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Number Name Itemnr_1 Itemv_1
Address Itemnr_2 Itemv_2
Itemnr_3 Itemv_3
Number Name Itemnr_1 and so on
I have managed to get the fields Name and Address in their right places by
writing 'Name+Address' in the Contents-box for this column and keeping the
width-value the same as the width of the Name field. This causes the Address
to be printed on the next row. The problem is now that I cannot use the same
trick with 'Itemnr... and Itemv...' since these are numbers. And I cannot
change the type to character because I want to be able to calculate using
these fields.
My questions are: Is there another way to force fields to be printed in columns
beneath on another as in the example above ? How about fields with numbers ?
Suggestions for share-ware programs that can make lists or reports using dbase-
files....
