My special thanks are to all of the enthusiasts who sent me direct mail.

I have been receiving too many comments to post the address
of ISO or ANSI or some non-private entity that can send
(sell) copies of ISO Standards or Draft IS.

Following eas a posting by Tim Lasko of DEC. All credits
should go to him. I saved the note back in 1988, I believe.
I am posting it without his permission, I don't think he
objects though. I only note that so you may blame myself
    for any possible discrepancies!!
                                      B. A.

----------------

Final and Draft ISO standards are ordered solely from ANSI's International
Sales Department:

International Sales Department
American National Standards Institute
1430 Broadway
New York, NY 10018

Include in the order the title and the number of the ISO standard, also
provide *separate* orders for draft and published standards. You can
call 212.354.3300 (ask for the International Sales Department) and check
on how much they cost because unless you are a regular corporate customer
they generally require up-front remittance.
