[comp.std.internat] Need info on ISO Chinese-character-encoding standard

When is ISO going to come out with its standard for computer encoding of
Chinese characters?  I need information on this for a project involving Chinese
typesetting.

Advance thanks for information or pointers.  I'll post a summary of information
received.
