Could someone tell me where I can get a list of ISO language codes (the two-letter abbreviations for various languages, e.g., el=Greek, de=German, etc.) Electronic would be best, but I'm willing to write to an appropriate standards organization for paper. -dh

It is called ISO 639:1988 and its technical contents is available by ftp, FTAM or mail from dkuug.dk:i18n/ISO_639 (for mail try archive@dkuug.dk with subject help). Keld Simonsen
