Has anybody ever thought about poster sessions? They could be set up during the paper sessions and people could wander out and look at them. To keep from having the poster's author chained to the poster all day, each poster would have a sign on it telling when the author will actually be around to talk with people about his work. It has some of the advantages of a dual-track meeting (i.e. if you don't like the prime attraction, you can see something else) while not having the major problem (having to pick between two good talks going on at the same time). Besides, it's a good way to get people thinking about alternate media. -- Roy Smith, System Administrator Public Health Research Institute {allegra,philabs,cmcl2,rutgers}!phri!roy -or- phri!roy@uunet.uu.net "The connector is the network"
