	TRANSACTION PROCESSING WORKSHOP

	May 1-2, 1989, Pittsburgh Hilton

Doug Kevorkian (attunix!dek) has extended the deadline for
submissions to the USENIX Transaction Processing Workshop
to February 20.

As UNIX is playing an ever-increasing role in hosting
production transaction processing systems, this
promises to be an important workshop and the Association
is eager to explore wide-spread discussions on both
existing technology and future requirements.

For further details contact Doug Kevorkian (attunix!dek;
201-522-5086 [voice]; 201-522-6621 [fax]).

Now's the time for all of you who put it off to the last minute!
