Several folks have asked me about the scheduled OSF BoF; the result is that they've gotten me the job of chairing it. So, if you want to see me expose my ignorance, please come. The *real* information with be dispensed by several OSF staffers who know something. The topics to be covered are: OSF's Interoperability RFT OSF's Architecture-Neutral Distribution Format and Motif - Technical Update As some of you may know, OSF recently held a member meeting to talk about its Operating System. Because the (many) member comments have not yet been assimilated, there will not be an announcement about the OSC in Baltimore. When decisions have been made, they will be publically announced. The BoF will be held on Tuesday night from 8-10 p.m. Site will be announced in the registration packets. Peter

As there has already been one BoF posting, here's a second. On TUESDAY evening, January 23, from 6-8 p.m. there will be an OPEN SOFTWARE FOUNDATION BoF. I will post the actual personalities involved early in January. However, the plan as of right now is to have about 10 minutes devoted to each of OSF/1 ANDF DCE Motif news and leave a lot of time for Q&A from the audience. I will chair the BoF. Peter H. Salus
