Hi Everyone. I want to put my facesaver data into my root X window, but I'm not sure of the precise format of the data, so that I can crack it into an X-type bitmap. I imagine that the data should just be broken into values of three bits each, but there seems to be some extra bits somewhere... Can someone explain the format ? Thanx! =============================================================================== rjshaw@ramius.llnl.gov _____ ____ ____ ______ R o b / / / / / / / / / / / -------- / --/ / / / / / / / / / --------------------------- /-- / / / / / / / / S h a w /____/ /_/_/ /_/_/ /_____/ The Cosby's are precisely what's wrong with television today... ===============================================================================

Try xloadimage -onroot facesaver As an aside, for all those who replied to my posting about the face saver label-making program, I am about to make it available via anonymous FTP. Just cleaning up the code some. More information to follow soon. -- Bradley C.
