According to the CBS affiliate radio station in the bay area, at least San Francisco International and San Jose International have implemented the following rules: [1] No curbside checkin. [2] Only ticketed passengers beyond the security points. [3] Any possessions left unattended will be confiscated and destroyed. [4] This includes cars vehicles left at the curb. Presumably because of [1], the administrators suggest to passengers that they expect extraordinary delays when they check luggage (arrive 1.5 hours early for domestic flights). I don't know if [3] means that lockers will be unavailable. I would imagine that similar rules are in place at other airports. -- Eliot Lear [lear@turbo.bio.net]

Austin has the same, so I would imagine it's pretty consistent nation-wide. Austin also suggests checking in 2 hours before domestic flights. Lockers are NOT being rented. Fortunately, I can drive to this conference! ;-) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- King Ables Micro Electronics and Computer Technology Corp. ables@mcc.com 3500 W.
