[comp.org.usenix] brewpubs in the Napa valley

shannonb@fai.UUCP (Shannon Bryans) (06/12/91)

I'm going up to Napa in a couple monthes for a 4-day
weekend. I've heard there are some good brewpubs in
the area, and was hoping for recommendations. It
would be a nice change from wine tasting!

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

I know of two in the area:
    Anderson Valley Brewing in Boonville
    Mendocino Brewing Company in Hopland

Anderson Valley is a sunny roomy restaraunt type of brewpub. I liked
their stout a lot, and loved a special brew they have at the moment,
Extra Special Bitter.

The Mendocino Brewing Company is a darker bar-like place; they had a
band the evening I was their. Their Red Tail ale is quite good.
