I had a letter from a student in Yugoslavia who asks "Anyone knows better book which could be used as source of ideas for student programming projects than (nine years old) "Etudes for Programmers" by Charles Wetherrell, Prentice-Hall, 1978?" My only thought was perhaps the Programming Pearls articles in CACM, so I'd appreciate other suggestions to pass along to him.
