Greetings I am in search of an authoring system for the IBM PC world. I will attempt to describe what it is I am looking for as best as I know how. ANY information would be helpful as if I don't find one of these things I have to write one, and I really don't want to. authoring system - program package which facilitates the design and implementation of CAI applications what I've got - seven (!) large directed decision exercises eg. Choose one of the following, do what follows, etc. in fact, a bunch of GOTO statements on paper what I would like- program which I could load data file, with instructions, into and have it run or generate a CAI application what I've seen - PC PILOT - basically a fancy GOTO language Authority - expensive version of above Again, any information or leads would be appreciated greatly. I figure would be a rather large project and I really don't have time right now. Even better I've got a professor pushing me for this. A good organization to contact for info on lots of them is Data Training. Data Training publishes an authoring system reference guide. Look in a couple of the many CAI publications for info on who/how to contact.
