TITLE: READ ME

The MIX Student NewsWire is divided into 10 sections:

     <1>  "From the Moderator's desk..." - comments by the NewsWire
          Conference Moderator, Steven Pinney.

     <2>  "In THIS issue..." - a preview of highlighted student
          articles found in THIS issue of NewsWire.

     <3>  "From the Editor's desk..." - comments by the editor of
          the McGraw/Hill Information Exchange, Griff Wigley.

     <4>  "Technology project news..." - news of classrooms around
          the world using technology to enhance instruction in a
          variety of content areas.

     <5>  "In the Spotlight..." - a special event or activity that
          merits a special bit of attention.

     <6>  "Please meet..." - an interview, made possible by the use
          of telecomuncications, between a local student and a
          distant computer-using adult.

     <7>  "Student news...far and wide..." - classroom news from
          technology-using classrooms in all parts of the world.

     <8>  "Opinion..." - a page with one or more student written
          editorials on issues pertinent to classrooms, kids and the
          use of technologies.

     <9>  "Special..." - an article that was deemed worthy of
          publishing, but had no place in the current NewsWire
          format.

     <10> "Look forward to..." - a peek at articles planned for the
          next issue of the MIX Student NewsWire.


The Student NewsWire is divided into 4 parts, each with
student articles in one of the previously mentioned 10 sections
or "topics" (marked here w/ an *).

The divisions are:

     *Technology Project news...
          The Other Side Of Tellecommunications
