Sometimes the "intelligence tests" are designed to National-Enquirer standards. My favorite one: (1972) How many days does it take to get to the moon? (answer: 3, 80% knew) (1988) How many days does it take to get to the moon? (almost no one knows) Gee, wonder if current events ever influence these test questions and answers???????
