I am part of a group of people that have started an international educational organization dedicated to bringing students in different countries around the world together over the airwaves. We "kicked off" the group about two months ago at NASA's JPL in Pasadena, CA. Our group, JPL, and Yaesu Electronics co-sponsored the event in which communications via sattelite was established between students in the US, South America, and Yugoslavia. This event was covered by various media representatives, including NewsLink. If you have a class that would be interested in talking with classes (or students) in other parts of the world please contact me. I have information that I can send via US mail, or email. I also have some information geared to be presented to school boards and colleges.
