The Tulane University Medical Center, School of Public Health and Tropical
Medicine-Health Education Electronic Forum (SPHTM-HEEF) is now running on a 5mb
Mac II with more than 140mb of hard disk storage (CDs are coming!), 2400 baud
and 24 hours of service. Access is made to 90% of all utilities and ALL
software after answering an online survey (takes an average 2-3 minutes to
finish). We have, by the time you call us, over 15mb of IBM-PC type PD/SW
software, 20mb of Mac Software (sounds, graphics, health software, stacks,
games, utilities, etc.) and other programs for Apple and Commodore.
We're starting to compile information on AIDS (we're will be contracting to
serve as a micro-database for a AIDS training center) and a Job Bank for health
educators is in the works!

We need your call: (504) 588-5743

[SYSOP: Please post this and change the telephone number and location on your
BBS list]

Help needed: authoritative guide, book(s), articles on the history and/or
development of Bulletin Board Systems. Anybody out there know of any good
articles (journal-type preferred) on the subject. I am particulalry interested
in NUMBERS (# of BBS in US, World, Types of BBSs and the numbers associated,
etc.) THANKS!

[SYSOP: Please post this!? Thanks!]
