I am working at making a link between my Xenix system and
the FrEdMail system which is an Apple based bbs system used
by educators.
I would like to hear from anyone else who is currently
working on this kind of project to share information and
ideas. My goal is to provide software and procedures to
enable gateways between the two networks.
I would also like to hear from anyone interested in
establishing communications links between themselves and
other educators in the elementary/high school system. Do
schools have access to Unix based systems and its electronic
mail? Do schools use the Opus/Fido mail system? If yes
please send me mail with the particulars. There are some
super opportunities for sharing ideas between students and
teachers using this medium. I look forward to hearing from
some of you.
