[comp.edu] Need Ada compiler for teaching

abbott@aerospace.aero.org (Russell J. Abbott) (08/29/89)

I need a good, inexpensive Ada for teaching undergraduates. We must
make a decision almost immediately, so any top-of-the-head help you can
send me would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a validated Meridian Ada compiler on my AT&T 6300 PC, and it
works pretty well. I think they go for $750 now, but since they are
PC-based (and yes, they really do multitasking under DOS!), the system
cost could be very competitive.
