                        New Home for KIDSNET
                ______________________________________

The KIDSNET mailing list is returning from its late Summer vacation to
a new computer. After straightening out any problems that may occur in
translating addresses from the ccnysci mailing list, I will send out
all those items which have accumulated over the last few weeks. New
submissions will be sent out as soon as they arrive here.

New addresses for KIDSNET are as follows:

        submissions: KIDSNET@PITTVMS.BITNET

        administration: JOINKIDS@PITTVMS.BITNET

The new host machine is accessible from BITNET - as indicated above - or
from Internet or uucp. The following machine addresses are all equivalent:

        KIDSNET@PITTVMS.BITNET (BITNET)

        kidsnet@vms.cis.pitt.edu (Internet)

kidsnet@vm1.cis.pitt.edu (alternate form of Internet address - )
kidsnet@vm2.cis.pitt.edu (use one of these if your mailer has )
kidsnet@vm3.cis.pitt.edu (trouble with the address above )

        pitt!vms.cis.pitt.edu!kidsnet (uucp)

Any of these addresses may be used for submitting articles to the KIDSNET
mailing list. Requests to be added to the list (or removed from it) should
be sent to JOINKIDS for prompt attention and to avoid unnecessary traffic
on the list as a whole.

Thanks are due from all of us to Patt Haring and Jeffrey Bromberger for
keeping the list going from ccnysci. They set a standard of excellence
that will be a constant challenge to match.
