[comp.edu] ATTN: Anybody at U of Toronto

herndon@sctc.com (William R. Herndon) (07/10/90)

My apologies if this is not the proper newsgroup for such postings.

My wife and I will soon be making our applications to graduate school
for the fall semester of 1991 and are currently deciding which schools
we wish to get information from and apply too. By far the most
difficult thing for us so far has been trying to finds schools or
areas where we can both attend doctorate programs. My wife wishes to
continue her studies in humanities ( concentration in medieval studies ),
and I wish to obtain my PhD in computer science.

I learned from a friend, that the University of Toronto may have a
Medieval Studies institute ( and also a well thought of CS program )?
Can anybody confirm or deny this, and if it does not, does the
university offer a doctorate in humanities?

Finally, could somebody send me the address that would be used to obtain
information from the graduate school. I don't read these groups regularly,
so E-mail would be better than posting.

    Thanks in advance.
