It appears that only responses sent via US Mail will be considered.] DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC COMPUTING DARTMOUTH COLLEGE, HANOVER, NH Dartmouth College seeks an energetic and experienced person for Director of Academic Computing. The successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the computing environment in support of teaching and research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Arts and Sciences, in professional schools of engineering, business and medicine, and for students and staff. A strong computing background, management and administrative abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills are required. Familiarity with academe is a must, and a Ph.D. is preferred. Minimum qualifications: Masters degree and seven years of experience supporting faculty, staff and students in higher education, or the equivalent. Dartmouth College, long a leader in academic computing, is a completely networked residential campus where essentially every student, faculty member and staff member owns or has use of a personal computer. There is also a rich array of workstations and mainframe computers.
