[net.music] Info needed on learning guitar

I would appreicate any recommandations on books for learning how to play
guitar.  I'm interested in learning how to play pop and rock music.
I looking for books that will get me playing tunes on the guitar, rather
than an intense study of music theory, even though I realize this is
a important part of mastering the guitar.
