Archie keeps track of the contents of over 600 archive sites, and allows users to query for program names or the complete contents of any archive site. To use archie, telnet or rlogin to the machine quiche.cs.mcgill.ca (132.206.2.3 or 132.206.51.1) and log in as user "archie". There is no password. You will get a login message, with status and help information.
