Dear Colleagues, This posting is on behalf of a set of people here in Bombay interested in setting up a special interest group of people working to improve and innovate school level education involving normal children, disadvantaged children, and at the other extreme, gifted children. The disadvantaged would include both socially disadvantaged and physiologically disadvantaged children (hearing handicapped children, mentally retarded children etc). The idea is to set up a interest group locally. This group wishes to interact and liase with like-minded groups elsewhere. So, if you have similar interests, could you please let me know, either over e-mail, or through this newsgroup? Similarly, if you know of groups we should get in touch with, could you please let me know?
