[comp.edu] Request: M68k educational software

jgjack@uctvax.uct.ac.za (Graham Jack) (03/15/91)

Hi fellow Motorola 68000 users,

We in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the
University of Cape Town are currently setting up a Undergraduate
Microprocessor teaching facility based on a MOTOROLA 68008L8 processor.
The facility consist of 10 NOVELL networked IBM PC/AT compatible
machines, each with a custom designed 68008L8 processor card.

I am currently considering the onerous task of writing the software to
sit on the card and the software to run in the IBM PC/AT. Before I
begin this long task I have decided to try and find out if someone else
has already written similar software and whether it is available,
either commercially or as public domain/shareware software. If you
have _any_ information that may of helpful would you please contact me.

I would like to thank you in advance for any information you can
provide and would request that it be sent directly to me at the e-mail
address given below and I will summarise the responses for the net and
try and produce a report that details what is available.
